Good design is the foundation for everyday spaces.

Serena is a registered architect (NY / NJ / CT) and a Certified Passive House Consultant. She is the founder of SCHIA Studio, a full service architecture and interior design practice based in Jersey City.

Prior to founding SCHIA Studio, she was Project Manager and Architect at WXY Architecture + Urbanism Studio, where she led and supported a wide range of projects from commercial and retail fit-outs, to waterfront developments and public realm design throughout NYC and the state of New York.

Serena holds a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University. At Yale, she was awarded the William E. Parsons Medal for Excellence in City Planning and designed an exhibition at the Swedish Embassy in DC, where her research and design thesis “Gothenburg: The Informal City” was featured.
